Delete your account and data

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This page explains how to delete your Store Soft data and, if you have one, your Store Soft cloud account. Your local business data, cloud account and synced records, and website/CRM contact and usage records are separate. Clearing your local data does not automatically delete records held by Store Soft.

You do not need a cloud account to request deletion. Store Soft can be used offline without Sync. Even then, we may hold a website request, shop contact details, linked installation/usage records, or feedback. Use the request below to ask us to remove records we can identify as yours, and the local steps to remove the copy on your device.

Option 1 — Delete your business data in the app

The app can erase all of your business data by itself. This is the fastest way, and it does not need our help.

  1. Open Store Soft and sign in as the owner.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Open Danger zone.
  4. Choose Delete all data and follow the confirmation prompt.

The app takes a backup snapshot first, then deletes. If your shop uses multi-device sync, the deletion is applied to every device in your store, not just the one you are holding — the other devices empty themselves the next time they sync.

The safety snapshot and any previously exported backups are separate copies; this action does not erase them. Delete those files too if you want to remove all copies.

What this removes

What this keeps

If the button refuses to run. On a shop that uses multi-device sync, this action needs to reach our server before it deletes anything, so that the deletion can reach your other devices too. It will stop and change nothing if the device is offline, if your subscription has expired, or if the device has been removed from the store. If you are in any of those situations, use Option 2 below and we will delete everything for you — or simply uninstall the app to remove the copy on your device.

Option 2 — Request account or CRM data deletion

To delete your Store Soft cloud account and synced data, or your website/CRM contact and linked usage records, send us a request. Tell us which records you want removed. We verify ownership before deleting data; a cloud account or paid subscription is not required to make a request.

Email younes.mimene@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”, and include:

You can also reach us on WhatsApp, and we will agree an ownership check using your account email or the contact details on the request. Do not send us passwords or activation codes.

How long it takes. We action deletion requests within 30 days, and normally much sooner. We will contact you to confirm once it is done. You do not need to keep the app installed while you wait.

What gets deleted, and what we keep

Deleted for a verified cloud account deletion request

Website, CRM and linked usage records

You can request deletion of your website submissions, shop contact details, follow-up records and installation or usage records that we can link to you. This includes identifiable copies held in our private follow-up Google Sheet. Tell us if your request should also cover feedback or diagnostic material you chose to send to support. Uninstalling the app or clearing its local data does not remove these server records.

What we keep, and why

Deleting your account does not erase the app on your phone or PC. Store Soft is offline-first, so your shop's data also lives on your own device. After the account is deleted, sync simply stops. To remove the local copy, follow the step below.

Deleting the data on your device

Your business data has a local copy on your device. Other copies can exist if you enable Drive backup or Sync, export a backup, or share data with support. Shop contact and limited usage records are handled separately, as explained in our Privacy Policy. To remove the local copy, do either of these:

Deleting your Google Drive backups

If you turned on the optional Google Drive backup, your backup files are in your own Google Drive, in a hidden app folder — we have no access to them and cannot delete them for you. On a computer, open Google Drive settings, choose Manage apps, find Store Soft, then use Options → Delete hidden app data. This removes the stored Drive copies. See Google's storage help. Disconnecting access alone should not be treated as confirmation that existing backup files were deleted. Manage connected access from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
